IEP Meeting Information
IEP meetings are scheduled during teacher planning periods. We allot 45 minutes for each IEP meeting. In the event that a meeting goes over the allotted time a continuation meeting will be scheduled.
7th grade IEP meetings: Monday and Friday at 8:35
8th grade IEP meetings: Monday and Friday at 10:25
6th grade IEP meetings: Monday and Friday at 2:25
Note: During certain times of the year we hold meetings on Wednesday as well, depending on state mandated time lines.
Things that help meetings run more smoothly:
1. Review the IEP prior to the meeting. You will receive your draft of the IEP 5 business day’s prior to the meeting.
2. If you have questions regarding the draft of the IEP, please contact the case manger in advance so they can answer your questions.
3. If you would like to meet with the case manager prior to the IEP meeting to go over the draft, please let us know. This has proven to be helpful in the past.
4. If you have a specific concern regarding an upcoming IEP meeting, please let the case manager know in advance. It may be something that can be addressed prior to the meeting.
5. If you are unable to attend a scheduled meeting, please let the case manager know as soon as possible so we can reschedule the meeting as quickly as possible.
